- ➤ On Tuesday, Carson City Sheriff's Office released video footage of a fatal officer-involved shooting on April 17 in a downtown casino parking lot where deputies, after learning of a felony warrant for 35-year-old Alexander Allinger during a consensual encounter, pursued him on foot until he presented a handgun and shots were exchanged—Allinger was fatally shot and both deputies were placed on administrative leave as the investigation continues.
