- ➤ The Carson City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 5:00 p.m. on April 30 at the Carson City Community Center (Robert Bob Crowell Board Room) to review proposals to convert a billboard to a digital display, allow an accessory dwelling unit, and abandon parts of Monitor Peak Street and South Pratt Avenue. - ➤ Carson City's Open Space Advisory Committee will review a house project near Horse Creek Ranch during its Monday meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the community center boardroom at 851 E. William St—planning commissioners approved a permit on March 26 for a new residence and accessory dwelling unit on property outside the conservation easement while city staff monitor compliance with conservation rules.
