ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ February storms boosted reservoirs (including Lake Tahoe up 156,700 acre-ft) in Western Nevada, but warm weather kept snowpack levels low; this early melt-off may force Carson Valley farmers to pump supplemental water for irrigation starting April 1. The Record Courier
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Douglas High baseball lost 4 to 2 to Carson High Tuesday night at Greater Nevada Field after a comeback effort fell short. The Tigers will host their home opener on Thursday at 3 p.m. against McQueen and play Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Peccole Park. The Record Courier
