Carson High School honored senior Clare Mulvihill for her academic excellence (she ranks fifth in her class) and sports leadership as she prepares for her next chapter at Texas A&M University’s College Station while securing scholarships to study agriculture.
🌲 Environment
February storms boosted reservoirs (including Lake Tahoe up 156,700 acre-ft) in Western Nevada, but warm weather kept snowpack levels low; this early melt-off may force Carson Valley farmers to pump supplemental water for irrigation starting April 1.
