- ➤ Western Nevada College is renovating its Piñon Building on the Fallon campus to expand nursing training, with design and permitting underway and construction set to begin in January. The upgraded facility (including modern clinical training areas, simulation labs, and dedicated study and testing rooms) will serve more local students. The Nevada Appeal
- ➤ Nevada Superintendent Victor Wakefield, who began his role on Oct. 27, wants most high school graduates to earn the College and Career Ready diploma. - ➤ Greenwave wrestlers achieved top-five finishes Saturday at Lovelock Mustangs Tournament, earning podium spots in varsity, JV and girls divisions.
