- ➤ Carson City will close parts of Prison Hill on Oct. 15 from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. for drone herbicide treatment on four one-acre sections including the 5th Street Trailhead, 5th Street Loop Trails, Prison Hill East Trail, and lower Desert Peach Trail—this measure will fight cheatgrass and help restore native habitat after the July 2021 wildfire.
