The Record-Courier retired the Basque restaurant category while naming JT Basque Bar & Dining Room as the best forever— a decision made after consultation with the restaurant family. - ➤ Over the short span of September, two men were sentenced to prison for choking their partners. Today, the Family Support Council held a candlelight vigil indoors at the Carson Valley Museum—where survivors shared their stories and community members honored their strength as the county recognized National Domestic Violence Month.
