The 32nd annual Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada Luau was held Saturday evening at the Carson City MAC where hundreds attended dinner from Carson City BBQ, live dancing and auctions that raised scholarship funds.
All proceeds benefited the club by helping it offer free or discounted tuition to families in need—supporting local children.
Carson City's Centennial Park will host the 'Under the Lights' cornhole tournament on Saturday, Sept.
20, where teams compete in two divisions with cash payouts after a 50% donation supports local youth sports. Participants must sign in at 6 p.m. for practice before the tournament begins at 7 p.m.—dry RV camping and food are available on-site.
