- ➤ Carson City Board of Supervisors will meet at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the community center board room at 851 E. William St.—to review revised courthouse plans that let the Clerk-Recorder’s Office remain temporarily, provide shared temporary space for a new justice of the peace, and relocate the Department of Alternative Sentencing in 2027 while finishing improvements by the end of 2029—which may save about $1.5 million. - ➤ The Bureau of Land Management Sierra Front Field Office is working with University of Nevada-Reno to use 1,200 sheep for vegetation management at Winters Ranch in Washoe Valley today.
