- ➤ WNC is beginning fall classes today and Student Services helps students register until Aug. 29, with full-term classes available by instructor approval until Sept. 19—its flexible learning options suit many with work and family needs. WNC received $600K from the Governor’s Office to create a training hub in Fernley for jobs in advanced manufacturing, while its CDL program helped Sierra Murphy get a job with Washoe County School District and its Fall Kickoff on Aug. 13 honored staff for community service.
