- ➤ Firefighters responded to a half-acre brush fire near the entrance to Pine View Estates on Tuesday just after 2 p.m.—several fire trucks and a hand crew worked to control the blaze and ease traffic slowdowns on Ray May Way while the Nevada State Fire Marshal’s Office investigated the incident. - ➤ Carson City first responders responded to a house fire at 9:19 PM on August 16 and rescued David Harold, 78, who was taken to the hospital for advanced medical care but died the following day—investigators are reviewing the cause of the fatal incident. News4
