- ➤ The Nevada Division of State Parks and the Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation are asking for public input on the 2027-2036 Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan, which will set priorities for federal fund awards and map recreation assets. - ➤ Governor Joe Lombardo has authorized a small contingent of Nevada National Guardsmen to support the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in clerical and logistical roles with no law enforcement duties. The volunteers are serving under Title 32 status and will remain active until November 15 (providing less than 1 percent of the Guard’s strength) to meet a federal request. The Nevada Appeal
