- ➤ During the Douglas County Library’s wildlife show on July 31 at CVIC Hall, Conservation Ambassador Inc.’s Wild Things Director Gabe Kerschner and children held a 15-year-old, 17-foot, 100-pound Burmese python to close out the library’s summer reading program—where 55 percent of teens completed the challenge.
