- ➤ The Nevada Division of State Parks is asking for public input to develop a 20-year master plan for Spooner Lake and Backcountry State Park, which spans more than 12,000 acres and offers over 60 miles of trails. - ➤ On Wednesday morning, fire crews made steady progress in containing the Conner Fire — 84% contained after burning 17,714 acres — as they mopped up hot spots and secured containment lines.
