- ➤ Indivisible Northern Nevada and the Sierra Club Toiyabe Chapter protested Tuesday outside Reno’s federal building—after a Senate ruling on Monday blocked the proposed sale of millions of acres of federal land. - ➤ Carson City Supervisors adopted two ordinances on June 20 that update the Downtown Neighborhood Improvement District and change zoning to allow a planned unit development for 240 townhome residences near Antler Drive. The measures were passed by votes including those of Stacey Giomi, Lisa Schuette, and Mayor Lori Bagwell and are set to be published today—ensuring the changes become part of the public record.
