- ➤ The McCharmlys, a Santa Ana band known for their vintage doo-wop and surf rock style, will open the Levitt AMP Concert Series at the Brewery Arts Center at 449 W. King St.—their first performance in Carson City—and the free show starts at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 21. The Nevada Appeal
- ➤ The Jazz and Beyond festival committee announced Katelyn Lehmann as the winner of the contest for her design 'Sights and Sounds,' chosen from four entries for the poster, program cover and T-shirt art for the 22nd annual Carson City music festival. Lehmann — a Northern Nevada graphic designer who previously won in 2021 — adds creative value to a festival that will feature 25 free concerts. The Nevada Appeal
- ➤ Tomorrow at Taste of Downtown on the south stage, the Reno-based tribute band Life In The Fast Lane will perform classic Eagles tunes for Carson City fans.
