- ➤ Nonprofit Xquisite held an open house Friday to launch its new Advocacy Academy—an online training in nine modules covering topics such as advocacy, trauma-informed care, sex trafficking, and domestic violence—to help survivors learn at their own pace. Community leaders including Sheriff Ken Furlong and Mayor Lori Bagwell attended and said the program offers a critical resource to support victims and raise awareness of abuse in our area.
