- ➤ Lynne Barth and Emily Tessmer launch Sierra Spotlight Youth Theatre with a three-week summer workshop at Dance Workshop in Minden from June 29 to July 16 for children ages 7-14, who will learn acting + singing + dance for a performance of Annie Jr. on July 17. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Gardnerville resident Todd Hendricks will swim 225 miles at Carson Valley Swim Center through June to raise funds for cancer research, completing 7.5 miles daily. He will share updates online and invite donations to support his effort. The Record Courier
