- ➤ The Carson City Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for a volunteer hotel-motel representative role on the Culture and Tourism Authority — a board that meets at the Community Center Sierra Room on the second Monday at 4:00 p.m. Applications will be accepted until June 13 and interviews will be held on July 3 — the 2-year term requires a 6-8 hour monthly commitment with no compensation. - ➤ Sen. Jacky Rosen brought a bill to end the tax on tips to the Senate floor on Tuesday and used unanimous consent to pass it—no senators objected.
