- ➤ County commissioners debated the Muller Lane Parkway project and approved seeking eminent domain after work continued south of Buckeye Road while Park Ranch Holdings owner David Park agreed to negotiate—a split vote saw three commissioners in favor and two against. County Manager Jenifer Davidson said the county views eminent domain as a last resort and officials plan to address drainage concerns and upcoming deadlines—legal challenges and conditional FEMA reviews add to the complex process. - ➤ Carson City officials announced road closures and lane restrictions for road and utility work scheduled April 21 to 27. 2nd Street between Carson and Curry will be closed to westbound traffic until June 30—Gentry Lane between Hudson and Snyder will close Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.—North Ormsby Boulevard will be closed to northbound traffic on Monday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Plaza Street will be closed Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Roop Street will operate with one lane Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Nevada Appeal
