- ➤ Members from Oasis FFA chapter attended Nevada’s 97th annual FFA State Convention in Reno from March 23 to 26. The 47-member chapter earned top finishes in AgriScience, Novice and Senior Horse Evaluations, Ag Sales, and Milk Quality (seven students advanced to nationals thanks to dedicated coaching and community support). - ➤ Hot Air for Hope and Carson Tahoe Health are expanding a school outreach program offering live balloon inflation demos and lessons on flight, history and resilience at schools in Carson City, Douglas and Lyon counties.
