🚧 Accidents
Carson City Fire Department responded to a structure fire after Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District requested aid Monday afternoon on Ormsby Lane (near White Pine Drive) in Washoe Valley; the blaze displaced three adults, one child, and two dogs with no injuries reported.
🎭 Culture
Carson City Symphony will perform Adventures in Music at 4 p.m. on April 26 at the Bob Boldrick Theater - guest soloist Natalie Higgins will play Glière’s Concerto for Horn with pre-show entertainment at 3 p.m. Tickets cost $18, $15 for seniors and students, and are free for youth.
The Brewery Arts Center will host its Golden Jubilee Gala on Saturday, Apr.
11 at BAC (449 W King St.) to celebrate 50 years with a special dinner, live music by Bob Sumner, and a silent auction aiming to raise about $40,000 to $50,000 for operating costs; ticket sales are ongoing.

Campagni Auto Group, including Carson City Toyota, recently awarded $5,000 in scholarships to Western Nevada College students studying automotive mechanics.
