- ➤ Carson High School senior Tyler Silsby has excelled in academics, sports, and community service through his CTE civil engineering pathway, football and golf teams, and volunteer work at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School. - ➤ At Oasis Academy, the softball team swept three games against North Tahoe while the baseball squad suffered losses; the team hosted Sierra Lutheran on Tuesday and will play a doubleheader in Carson City on Saturday before heading to Yerington on March 31. The Nevada Appeal

- ➤ Sierra Lutheran High School's new softball team is off to an 8-1 start, sweeping West Wendover and North Tahoe and winning two-of-three against Incline on the weekend.
