- ➤ Carson City's Gina's Good Life Music & Lounge will host the Mile High Jazz Band's Jazz Sampler for Sweethearts from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, with jazzy love songs; later, the band will present its 22nd annual Jazz Extravaganza at the Community Center to benefit local youth jazz bands. - ➤ Douglas High School girls wrestling captured two regional titles on Saturday at Reed High School as Ella Kavanagh earned her 100th win and sophomore River Klein clinched her first regional crown. The team finished fourth overall by earning 100.5 points. The Nevada Appeal
- ➤ Minden native Sullivan Cauley, a Reno High graduate, won two bouts at the PFL World Tournament in 2025 + fought for the light heavyweight belt in August before losing in the finals. He begins 2026 as the division’s seventh ranked fighter. The Nevada Appeal
