- ➤ Four Carson teachers – Ryan Mick, Devin Nielsen, Kayleigh Robinson, and Tanya Watts – were honored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars as VFW Citizenship Education Teachers for teaching American values, democratic principles, and civic responsibility; the recognition was based on classroom instruction and community involvement.
