Hidden Valley Peak (6075') Redux

About this event

We did not make it to the summit on Nevada Day, due to weather concerns, so let's try again with a better weather forecast. Hike to Hidden Valley Peak (6075'), aka "Road to Nowhere Peak". We'll also try to visit the "Hidden Heart" on the way down. A good hike for experienced hikers. Some sections are steep and rocky. You need to have good hiking boots. Hiking poles may be helpful for the downhill. The forecast is for fair weather with temperatures in the 60's. Bring snacks and plenty of water, and a lunch to eat on the top of this peak. Not for beginning hikers! Distance is 6 miles with elevation gain of 1500 ft. Difficulty: Moderately Strenuous. DL (Dogs limited.)
