About this event
Bring a sandwich and we'll have lunch at one of the picnic tables in the park. Then we'll take a fall colors hike 5 miles along the serene and ebbing Carson River. Discover and learn about nature and geology in and around Carson Valley. Elevation gain up to 50 ft. Moderately Easy. DL (Dogs Limited).
Carpooling This is a 30-mile drive from Reno. If you wish to carpool, meet at the Starbucks in the Galena Junction Shopping Center at Mt. Rose Hwy and Wedge Pkwy at 11:25a. We will leave promptly at 11:30a. If you choose to ride with someone, please bring gas money to share expenses.
